Scientists are not You and Me
Damn this is sad! I remember that I told someone that I was a scientist at work and they laughed at me thinking it was funny. (I work in a call center.) But I had to remind them that I had to make money while studying, going to school, and doing my own research. Besides, wasn't Einstein a patent clerk while he developed the Theory of Relativity?
People throw out that they are Christians, Muslims, Buddhists - why can't Science be my religion? I'm not saying I'm an atheist but I do believe in Science as much as people believe some deity snapped His/Her fingers and all this appeared.
